I discovered my passion for filmmaking at a young age when I started making shorts. I later decided to focus on my favourite role - editing - and gained important cutting room and features experience working on Batman Begins, The Da Vinci Code and The Bourne Ultimatum.
I graduated with a Distinction in 2007 from the National Film and Television School's two year MA programme, specialising in editing, where I gained invaluable experience working with many directors on a variety of films.
As a freelancer, I have endeavoured to build upon my experience and abilities as an editor by choosing to work on projects as diverse as possible - including comedy, animation, documentary, contemporary and period drama - and have worked with directors including Jordan Scott, Sean Durkin, Vincent Moon, Olly Blackburn, Sam Donovan and Stephen Daldry. In 2016 I was nominated for a BAFTA Award for editing sci-fi drama series Humans.
I have my own Avid Media Composer edit system and have worked with super16 / 35mm film. I am a proficient French speaker.
THE CROWN (SEASON 6)
"In the end, The Crown leaves us with an Elizabeth II who is at once compellingly stately and utterly human. It’s a finale that feels just right." i News
"An explicit meditation on mortality and legacy... The final moments of The Crown are an articulate expression
of why ritual, stasis and pageantry matter." Variety
THE CROWN (SEASON 5)
Nominee, Primetime Emmy Awards - Outstanding Drama Series
Nominee, Golden Globes Awards - Best Television Series
"Episode 3 is absolutely glorious... It’s funny, it’s heartbreaking... It has wit, power and momentousness.
If this episode were a feature film, it would win Oscars." The Telegraph
"This installment is probably the most experimental departure the series has taken so far, with the royal family operating as a supporting cast while we follow the lives of three men of color, most notably Mohamed Al-Fayed, an Egyptian Anglophile and self-made billionaire ★★★★", Vulture
"It is strong storytelling and one of the best episodes in this series ★★★★", The Telegraph
MERKEL
Official Selection at Telluride Film Festival, IDFA and CPH:DOX
"Weber’s film isn’t afraid to move backwards and forwards in time, so that we can see how Merkel shaped herself for politics. The director is helped enormously by keen editing from Daniel Greenway which often juxtaposes ideas..." Screen Daily
"A thoughtful, admiring doc about a German political pioneer", The Hollywood Reporter
"Through interviews with journalists and former world leaders, coupled with clips from Merkel’s favorite childhood music and films, filmmaker Eva Weber paints a more human portrait of the woman who would grow up to save democracy", IndieWire
WHITE LINES
"White Lines has been hyped as the hit of the summer, and even though it will not be the summer any of us were expecting I’d be surprised if this lurid, swirling, fantastically confident creation didn’t hit the spot. ★★★★", The Guardian
THE CROWN (SEASON 3)

WINNER, Screen Actors Guild - Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series
Nominee, Golden Globes Awards - Best Television Series

"Nuanced and powerful dialogue runs throughout the series, and in the hands of the stellar cast, it makes for indelible moments", The Los Angeles Times
THE WIDOW
"The backdrop of civil war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo is straight out of Frederick Forsyth via John le Carré, but the plot is pure feminine psychodrama, like Gone Girl or The Girl On The Train ★★★★★", Daily Mail
"The Congolese setting and actors, playing sapeurs, smugglers and guerrillas, give what threatens to be a humdrum thriller a distinctive edge", Financial Times
BAPTISTE
"As baptisms go, Baptiste’s first standalone adventure is off to a thrillingly chewy start ★★★★", The Independent
"Taut and compelling, with plenty of twists ★★★★", i Newspaper
"The whole show suddenly spun on its axis... in a brilliantly edited scene — a fly walking around the rim of a takeaway carton, a bloodstain on a cuff. It was a bit of magicianly misdirection that transformed the episode", The Times
THE TERROR (SEASON 1)
WINNER, Satellite Awards - Best Television Series, Genre
WINNER, Golden Tomato Awards - Best Reviewed TV Horror, 2018
"Like a Masterpiece version of a classic horror movie: literate and philosophical, yet shocking and terrifically scary", TV Insider
"Ridley Scott's 'The Terror' turns macabre Arctic history into an engrossing fight for survival", Los Angeles Times
"The Terror is interested in fear itself, how it transforms us, how it turns us cruel and savage... a portrait of man and nature at their cruelest and coldest ★★★★★", Collider
RIVIERA (SERIES 1)
"Despite its pompous overcoat, Riviera has started out as a deceivingly brisk thriller which certainly holds promise", Metro

HUMANS (SERIES 1)
Nominee, BAFTA - Television Craft: Editing - Fiction
Nominee, BAFTA - Best Drama Series
Nominee, RTS Programme Awards - Best Drama Series
"A clever, high-energy thriller... There’s a complicated, realistic, interesting morality to Humans", The Guardian
"Humans does a particularly good job of creating an uncomfortably plausible setting in a parallel-present London. It allows the show not only to play on our age-old fears about out-of-control technological advancement, but also on a more mundane middle-class unease", The Independent
GLUE
Nominee, Broadcast Awards - Best Multichannel Programme
"A multi-layered thriller with heart, range and moments of real lyricism... a series which was a triumph of style and content", The Telegraph
